A beautiful, early spring day with blue skies to match Amy’s blue wedding dress. This alternative wedding dress was definitely a win! It was the inspiration for everything from the cake to the flowers. Even the name cards and table numbers matched. And to go one further, her blue Doc Martins were a unique choice of footwear that meant no change of shoes for the Bride was needed!

Megan from Rooted Up North did an amazing job with the florals, matching them to the colours of Amy’s dress. She created a perfect spring palette of blues and lilacs. Colour is definitely in this year and I’m here for it. A blue hydrangea wedding dress with matching hydrangeas in the bouquets and centre pieces. Just dreamy. Megan is undeniably talented.

Amy & Jon’s wedding definitely had a laid back vibe with this chilled out couple just enjoying their day.

A wedding ceremony in Newton Hall’s enchanted chapel is always a fairytale, set against the outdoor waterfall and surrounded by plants. And if you’re lucky, you might even spot a little bird or two bathing in the water.
